Commercial Loan Officer / Funding Manager (Burlington, VT)

compensation: 100% commission-based - variable amount per loan type, but generally commissions range from 2% - 10% of sale. 50% of total commission after 5 closed deals in month.

Lendio of Vermont and New Hampshire is growing rapidly and is looking for motivated Loan Officers / Funding Managers to join our team. We have 5 flexible hour positions open throughout Vermont and New Hampshire.

This is a crucial role responsible for managing the commercial loan process from start to close. If you enjoy inside sales or thrive in the financial services industry, this could be the opportunity you are looking for.

Successful Loan Officers and Funding Managers are effective in conducting business, over the phone and in-person, with a strong ability to convert warm leads into repeat clients.

Lendio has over 80 lending partners that offer over a dozen financial products from business credit cards to commercial real estate and every product in between, including equipment loans, term loans, and A/R loans.

Responsibilities include:

Finding and meeting with local referral partners which include lending institutions, equipment dealers, CPAs, commercial realtors and more
Understanding of loan requirements
Understanding business plans
Ability to perform a thorough needs- analysis with borrowers
Create ROI of various capital options
Suggest and negotiate terms of funding deals
Oversee the loan process from initial customer contact to closing of loan
What we’re looking for:

Previous inside sales, B2B sales, Banking, Lending or Financial background preferred, but not required
Ability to analyze and comprehend financial data and provide financial alternatives
Proven ability to learn quickly, be coachable, and close deals
Self-motivated and highly organized
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
Degree preferred but not required (Finance or Business degree is a plus)
