Ceramic Bowl, by American Potter Paul Chaleff - $95 (charlotte)

This is a bowl made around the 1970s, by ceramist Paul Chaleff. Mr Chaleff is an educator (Currently Professor of Art at Hoftstra University) and renowned artist, with work in the collections of many museums including the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The clay body is brown, with a taupe/cream colored glaze and a blue glaze. The markings in the blue area are also slightly incised into the clay. Stamped PAUL. In perfect condition.
