This is in fantastic shape and could probably still be used to make butter if you want! It’s so nice inside I don’t think it was ever actually used. It’s missing one paddle from axle and is missing the handle that would attach to the gear on the outside. It all turns freely and smoothly though, so if you get another handle, you’re in the butter business! Haha Made of maple right here in Montpelier. This is a great side table surface to have for the kitchen. You can easily remove the middle spindle and use the inside for storage.
