Guessing mid century 50s-60s. Highly precise instrument used for measuring small amounts of material. Commonly found in labs or educational settings. I secured it from a private estate call near Utica, NY. The heir states it came from a college lab. It seems a bit more complex than most given the lower right levers. I see no reason why it wouldn't work . Measures like 20" w X 11.5" d X 19.75" h to the top of the case. 24.25" h to top of the light. It is quite unusual to find the light. It works fine.
