Vintage wooden crate marked "California Prunes, Catz American Company, Inc. New York City, NY, 25 lb. new wt, Matador Brand on the one end of the crate. 40 inclusice 50, grown and packed in California, USA. on the other. 3579 Brooklyn on one side of the crae with the other side blank. One side has a crack in the wood, with a worn corner and a piece cut off on the other end.
