Hardinge T M horizontal milling machine with Bridgeport M vertical head, table power feed. Horizontal spindle has 5C taper with drawbar and wrench as well as 5C collets, which are imported and of unknown brand. Vertical head has MT2 spindle taper, and comes with new, unused, set of MT2 collets as well as MT2 ER25 collet chuck and set of inch size collets, all SHARS brand of quality imports. 3/8-16 drawbar is included. It is fortunate that this M head has a MT2 spindle taper as many of these come with orphan tapers that make finding collets very difficult and expensive. M head has been run on 208V three phase and can be confirmed running. The large three phase motor in the base that drives the horizontal spindle and also the table power feed has not been tested but there is not much that can go wrong. Three phase power is not presently available for further testing. There is a recirculating oil sump and a pump which presently has no belt attached, so it may or may not be functional. Lead screws exhibit typical lost motion expected in a vintage machine, although Hardinge typically built in adjustments to take up slack, so improvements likely possible. Machine reportedly came out of a clock factory in Waltham MA. The round ram that presently serves to mount the M head is aftermarket, and will be replaced with the original OEM ram before customer pickup. Mounted on a custom skid, forklift loading on trailer or truck can be arranged. Local pickup only in Springfield VT or Windsor VT, depending on whether the forklift is required. $1750 OBRO cash
