This concise set of world history encyclopedias includes nearly 3000 photographic illustrations (black & white and color), hundreds of specially-made maps and plans, pronouncing index of more than 10,000 entries, and a classified list of maps and plans.
A set just like this recently sold on ebay at $229. We feel ours is superior to that set. While some minor discoloring has occurred on the paste down end pages and free end pages, these volumes are in really fine shape.
Spines, Head, Hinge joints, fore edges, etc., are all in wonderful shape. Headbands and footbands show some minor wear, but, given the age is not detracting.
