Chinese figurine of 2 people. This seems like a wood carving. On the bottom are chinese figures: 闹天宫 which, I am told, may be a reference from a famous Chinese novel "Journey to the West", the novel is about a Buddhist monk Xuanzang (a real person) who traveled to the "West" (Central Asia and India) to seek for the sacred texts with his four disciples (not real people), one of them was a monkey who was smart but naughty and always caused trouble, one time he went to the "Heaven Palace" (many stories behind it) and caused quite a disturbance, that was called "闹天宫" (disturbance of the Heaven Palace). It is about 2" long.
