Offered from my long-time personal collection is this 1956-D Lincoln Small Cent "Double D'S". This Blazing Beauty has two totally separate "D" Mint-Marks. The second of which is South, or below the Strong Upper D Mint Mark, referred to as RPM #8. This coin is a Prime Specimen for grading in AU condition. *The reference picture is courtesy of Coppercoins.com showing the attributed 1956-D over D RPM #8 specimen for comparison, confirming this Rare Variety in comparison to our coin listed for sale.
