GENUINE U.S. 48 STATE WWII FUNERAL FLAG / U.S. BUNTING - $995 (South Burlington)

This flag was given to me as a teenager by a dear old friend that fought in WWII. I never asked him if it was a relatives or
under what circumstances he acquired it. "That is a teenager for you." He asked me if I wanted it and I said yes. He has long since died and I actually have two newer ones from my own relatives that have passed.
Anyway, I see one just sold on ebay at $2000. I don't know if I will have to list there (ebay) or whether someone local might like to purchase. So here it is.
Condition: HARDLY ANY WEAR IN THE FABRIC ITSELF. There is some minor discoloration in the white stripes and some mildew staining there as well. (See pics) The blue and white starred area is in perfect shape. There are NO rips or tears.
Also if you notice, I have the flag displayed under my covered entry for Memorial Day. I have about 18" of it cinched up as to not have it drag on the ground. I use spring clips do that. The only other days this flag sees any outside is on July 4th. and Veterans Day. Otherwise it is folded and stored.
DO NOT FEEL YOU WILL INSULT ME WITH AN OFFER LOWER THAN MY ASKING PRICE. I WANT TO SELL IT, NOT JUST LIST IT. I have the price I have due to one selling near my asking. That doesn't mean I am fixed here.
