FOR SALE: 2008 Ford F350 XL 6.4L Super Duty regular-cab flatbed, dually’s, with 8’ Western plow.

The truck was previously used for plowing, sanding, and materials movement at a NYS correctional facility, so it has very low mileage – 23,721 miles.

The truck previously was equipped with a landscaper dump body, followed by a flatbed (removed), and then I purchased it as a cab/chassis. I purchased a used (decent shape) Cadet Frisco steel 8’x9’ flatbed, and had it professionally installed by McLeod’s. The Cadet Frisco is a heavy-duty flatbed with an integral 2.5” receiver, all LED lighting, and has a gooseneck ball in a covered well. McLeod’s also installed fenders and mudflaps for the rear duallys.

The 6.4L twin-turbo diesel runs well and has a lot of power. If you want to haul anything heavy, this rig, with the factory tow package and 12,500 # towing capacity, is for you! 4WD works well, with manual range selector and locking hubs. It has a new LH front drive axle and hub. The automatic transmission shifts great and has a Tow/Haul button for locking out the overdrive.

Tires are inspectable, but you may want to get some more aggressive winter tires if you intend to do a lot of plowing.

Brakes are in good condition, and I have recently replaced three of the E-brake cables

The body is a bit rough with some rust on the driver door, rocker panel, and LH rear cab corner. I have a new cab corner that goes with the sale, however there will some patching necessary for inspection.

The 8’ Western plow works well and can move a ton of snow. Blade, lights, and wiring are all solid, however, it will need a bit of work as the RH swivel cylinder has a slow leak, and the LH jackstand/hook attachment is bent.

We are selling because this truck because it is too large for our present needs, i.e., property management and plowing our residential driveway. We are offering it for sale at the Kelly blue book pricing, (private party avg. – fair condition), of $14,900, however, we are open to considering your reasonable offer, as we are trying to free up some parking space.
