Walker Tutoring Services is a local company, offering one-on-one tutoring services to students of all ages. We work with students on math, science, test prep, writing, humanities, and study skills tutoring. We are currently looking for someone with experience tutoring students in math through calculus, as well as candidates who could assist with test prep and general study skills.

Required:
-Bachelor’s degree
-Experience tutoring and fluency in math through AP calculus
-A joy in the challenge of finding many ways to explain concepts
-Extensive one-on-one education experience
-A strong desire to help all students succeed
-An ability to communicate appropriately with students, parents and school systems
-Flexible schedule, particularly in afternoons/evenings (and possibly some daytime)
-Vibrant, warm, engaging personality with a knack for connecting with middle and high school students
-Organized and detail oriented around record keeping and communication
-Commitment through school year ‘26-’27 (longer preferred)
Preferred:
-Certified teacher
-Comfort with AP science courses
-Standardized test prep tutoring experience (SAT/ACT)
-Experience working with students with special needs
-Understanding of needs of homeschooled students
-Longer commitment
