We are a private, academics-based school from pre-school through grade 3. This position requires an individual who loves teaching early academic learning skills to young children ages 3-7.
It would be great if you have a degree in Elementary Education and have experience in grades K-3rd grades. Teachers need to be organized and willing to learn how to teach young children a higher level of academics. Groups are multi-age/multi-level. The teacher needs to have strong leadership qualities and a take-charge attitude. Our program's focus is basic learning such as alphabet letters, handwriting, phonics, spelling, reading, math, science, and monthly international themes, etc. along with homework for students...
It would be great to have knowledge of Foreign languages, especially Spanish, French, Chinese and or Dance, Music, Arts, other skills being a plus in this position... Our School hours are from 8:30am-3:30 pm,
Our school year is from September to June. Our school will open in September the day after Labor Day...
Keep in mind the Hourly rate is based on a small private school, therefore monetarily we cannot offer what public schools or even larger privates schools. However, as for experience and real academic learning, you will not find better...
