TP-Link Archer A-7 Mesh WiFi router (AC 1750) and Netgear CM500 High Speed Cable Modem. Never taken out of the box. I bought them about two years ago but never got around to installing them. Though they are not current models, this is what AI says about them:
“ • If your internet plan is under ~300-500 Mbps, the CM500 can keep up (because of its DOCSIS 3.0 16×4). If your plan is slower, there’s plenty of headroom.
• For routine uses (web browsing, HD streaming, video calls, etc.), the Archer A7 performs well. The 5 GHz band gives you good throughput, and the 2.4 GHz is useful for distance or walls.
• Small to medium sized homes where WiFi coverage is not extreme (e.g. not many thick walls, or very large square footage).
• If you have mostly devices that don’t need WiFi 6 or 6E features (newer phones, high-end gaming rigs, etc.), then the older WiFi 5 is still serviceable.”
