Need low-stress live sound, or location recording? (Northwestern Vermont)

Need to amplify the band or announcer at your event? Want to record your concert, but got too much on your plate just producing it? What if you’re a small combo playing a high-pressure gig and just don’t want to deal with mixing the front of house (which you can’t hear, because you’re on stage)?

Pay me like “one of the band” and I’ll mix your solo/duo/small group (up to 7 piece) show, indoors or out (with proper provisions for weather, of course). My 16x8 rig supports direct recording to DAW via USB, so I can “roll tape” (your laptop or mine) while you’re rocking out. You get the DAW files to do with as you please. (Add $100 if I need to provide the whole PA.)

Got a concert band or medium- to large choir show coming up? I’ll mike the room (or the gazebo!) and give you the audio files afterwards so you (or anyone) can do your own post-production. Starting at $100.00 for a two-hour community/volunteer ensemble show.

Just want some music and an announcement mic for your company pond hockey tournament? What about the school’s Nordic ski race? You provide the jams (Bluetooth-capable phone/tablet or any wired source) and I’ll project it out clearly and tastefully over an acre outdoors/a large ballroom indoors. $200.00 gets you my system and an engineer to run it for up to four hours at your event if you’re a non-profit or government agency; $350 for corporate/private events.

I’m a lifelong musician (got the degree to prove it) with a better-than-average-ear who just wants to bring more good sound to the world; let me help you have a chiller gig and impress those VIPs, find the path to a low-stress recording of your show, or present the bands at your Farmers’ Market (indoors too!) in a fuller-sounding, more enjoyable light*. Also, I’m a professional and own nice clothes; blending at weddings or corporate events is no problem.

* Studies show that tinny-sounding music inhibits sales of local produce**.
** Studies have not actually shown this, but it’s fun to imagine. ;-)

This being Vermont, all prices are negotiable/open for barter.

Did I mention it’s Vermont? I do reserve the right to delay or cancel participation in outdoor events when weather/shelter/surface conditions pose what I deem to an unacceptable risk to my safety or that of my gear. (Which is to say: The weather is changeable; please consider providing a tent or canopy and a non-slip stage that’s reasonably level and will keep electrical equipment and cabling away from water.)

Naturally, you are responsible for complying with all copyright law pertaining to whatever material gets piped through- or recorded by my gear; I’m just the conduit for your fun and/or creativity.

Thanks for reading!
