I purchased this at the beginning of the year. As seen my ad, the scooter is FAST (it tops out at 45.6 mph) and powerful (62-plus volts). I currently have about 200 miles on the odometer. I use the scooter to get around St. Albans efficiently (primarily just to the store for groceries, church and quick trips to appointments in the vacinity of my home.
This e-scooter has a Samsung battery which is in prime condition, obviously it comes with the original charger (there is an optional port where a second charger could be put to cut down on the 6-to-8 hours necessary that is necessary in order to get a full charge from zero percent. I usually charge at 40 to 50 percent in order to maintain good battery health. And this only takes between 3 to 4 hours. There is a 40 mile range for this scooter, provided that I am not constantly traveling at top speed all the time, or gunning the throttle from zero consistently on the same charge.
There are two (2) separate, independent, motors (located on each wheel) that power the scooter. When the rear tire popped (a couple of months back) I was concerned that I was in for a tedious job... Surprisingly, with this particular scooter brand, it was a breeze for me to do essentially everything and anything that ever needed (and could ever need) to be done to maintain this engineering marvel! It is impressive and I certainly will be buying another Kaboo after I take care of a couple of pressing debts.
Unlike other escooters I've ridden on, going 45 isn't at all concerning. The double-pole-mounted, front steering column, gives me unparalleled contact with the ground, and feels very sturdy, this removes any need for a steering dampener (which is common for scooters with only one steering pole column). I really love 💝😘 this scooter and I wish I didn't need the money more right now.
