Made in Niles, Illinois.
Classic Light Blue Pearl Finish, now faded to a greenish cast - which is what they tended to do over time ........ and it's been a long time !
Included in this set are :
14" x 18" Bass Drum with chrome hoops and snap-on pedal; Badge serial #53263 on it
5"x 14" Chrome Sound King Snare Drum with Badge serial #18075 on it and March 1965 stamped inside of it
8"x 12" Tom-Tom with November 1964 stamped inside
14"x14" Floor Tom with telescopic legs
14" Hi-hat with Zildjian cymbals
18" Paiste Formula 602 cymbal
A padded Vintage 1960s Slingerland Model 838 Rocket Drum Throne
All stands and other accessories, including brushes, sticks, drum key, etc.
and 4 custom built Fibre Cases mfg. by Humes & Berg of E. Chicago, Indiana.
Upfront, the three minor flaws I would make anyone aware of are: 1) a small split in the wrap on the underside of the bass drum [out of sight when upright]; 2) a slight crack in the inner ply shell of the snare drum [which I understand happens often with these]; and 3) only one original 1960's snare drum strainer cord remains, the other one broken and replaced with a piece of 1960's rope.
