A charming Persian rug, a vintage Ghashghai, a nomad rug in good, clean condition. Hand-knotted, wool on wool foundation. Evenly worn low pile. Muted colors from vegetable and mineral dyes. Typical Ghashghai nomad design. Ready to adorn an entrance hall or hall way. The Ghashghai nomads' rugs are woven on horizontal looms and the weaver sits during the weaving process on the half made part of the carpet. Size 7'-10" x 5'-4"
