A vintage Persian Hamadan Rug, pre-owned in very good condition, professionally cleaned. Hand-knotted, wool on cotton foundation. Healthy pile, great borders. Typical geometric Hamadan patterns with beautiful shades of red, blue, green and pink, grey colors from mineral and vegetable dyes. Hamadan rugs are a catch-all description of rugs from a broad area centering on Hamadan but extending into the surrounding provinces. Size 8'2" x 4'0".
