Typical Shiraz design, warm opulent colors of mineral and vegetable dyes. Shiraz carpets (Persian: قالی شیراز) is a type of Persian rug made in the villages around the city of Shiraz, in the Iranian province of Fars. They resemble the common grandeur of all Persian rugs.
