Tri purpose Dairy ewes. Naturally pulled. Beautiful fleece ( I spin the wool from my sheep)
Wendy's ewe were born 4-4-2026
Willow's ewe were born 4-9-2026
Both lambs are 50% East Frisian, 25% CVM, 25% milky finnsheep. I will be keeping both of their twin sisters.
Wendy and Willow are twin sisters. They are Wilmas daughters. They both are amazing mothers.
Their first lactation they were giving me 6 cups a day during peak ( their peak production lasted 4 months), they milked for 7 months before drying off.
This is their second lactation, I have started separating the lambs at night and milking them in the morning, they are currently giving me 5-6 cups per milking ( I am currently leaving some milk in their udder for the lambs at this time). Im predicting they could be producing around 3/4 of a gallon once the lambs are weaned. I predict they will really peak in production in their 3rd or 4th lactation, and could easily give me a gallon of milk per day.
Their sires dam produced a gallon a day during peak and milked for 8 months.
Even though both their mothers have great udder attachment, high production and are very easy to milk out, I will be only asking $350 each or $700 for the ewe pair due to not having any of their sires daughters currently milking.
They will be available after 7-6-2026
Wilma's Ewes were born 3-30-2026. They are 65% East Frisian, 25% milky finnsheep, 10% Merino.
These ewes are very friendly due to them being bottle fed. ( Wilma had a difficult pregnancy and delivery due to her having quads and being old,(( I will be retiring her this year). She is a great mother and could have easily raised all 4 lambs.
Wilma came to my flock with mastitis years ago. Due to the damage of the mastitis, she never reached peak lactation. I believe she could have given me up to 1 gallon of milk during peak. She gave me 12 cups a day during peak with her udder not full. Her lactations lasted 7-8 months before drying off.
Their sires mother produced a gallon a day during peak.
Due to poor udder attachment and not having any of the ram's daughters in lactation, Im only asking $300 each or $600 for the pair of Wilma's ewes.
