Alpine Doe Goats - $600 (Hyde Park)

Rehoming!

Sugar Top Farm Epiphany (Annie) and Sugar Top Farm Great Egret (Greta) are our final two goats. I have finally made peace with parting with them.

Annie & Greta are looking for an approved place with appropriate housing, secure fencing, and a glowing veterinary reference. Must be willing to milk at least once per day as Annie is lactating and try as she might, Greta cannot drink it all.

It would be a bonus if the new owner(s) would allow us to visit occasionally. We will retain the right of first refusal should new owner(s) be unable to keep the goats.

These Alpine goatie girls are registered with the ADGA and have pedigrees packed with very well known goats/herds.

Our herd has been tested disease-free for CAE, CL, and Johne's since our inception in 2013. The goats have been fed organically. Parasites have been managed herbally. Hooves have been trimmed monthly and the goats stand well for this. Both girls respect electric net fencing. Copper boluses have been administered every 6 months. Annie walks well on a leash. Greta is learning to.

Annie has exceptional milk stand manners and is accustomed to hand milking. On her previous lactation, she milked for 1.5 years and I had trouble drying her off for breeding in the fall.

Premier One semi-permanent electric net fence, as well as Busy Horse brand hay bags, are available in addition to the goats.

Serious inquiries only! No dealers. No tire-kicking ask-holes.

$600 for the pair.
Located in Hyde Park, VT.

Sale includes a free copy of my e-book, Bringing Dairy Goats to the Homestead. If you've already purchased the e-book, I will discount the goat price accordingly.
