After struggling for years to come up with a solution to place a large quantity of fence post in very rocky soils this was the solution for me....1980's Pressure digger mounter on a Mac model R ...low hours on rig ...engine runs great actually was driven up from Pennsylvania in the Fall...the rig can place a post inside of a 8 foot diameter wherever you choose by use of the hydraulic turntable...20,000 lbs of down pressure can be added and will turn the bit that is carbide tipped thru rock, bony soil, wood, stumps ...what ever is in the way. I drilled in frozen ground in the winter without problem. The helical gear box alone weighs over 1000 lbs and develops over 80,000 foot lbs...have two bits for extra, 9" for post holes, and 18" for foundation piers...each bit weighs 300-400lbs. Carbides are replaceable like a road grinding machine.

Couple of leaks on seals here and there but nothing that will stop from drilling tomorrow . I was able to drill upto 80 posts a day by myself...all my posts were set at 4 foot deep and all 1000 posts are done
Tires, brakes, batteries, all good...oil changed in Truck...pto drive...drives well
use it and send it down the road...can arrange to see it in action
