Pewter Platter - $35 (charlotte)

This platter is heavy pewter. Use for decor: it looks great on a sideboard or as a centerpiece. Also can be mounted on the wall – it has metal tabs attached to the back for this purpose. Measures 18.5" long x 11 3/4" tall. Made by Colonial Pewter. On the back it has a mark: CCC within a diamond shape, along with the words Colonial Pewter, which was in Meriden CT. The research I have been able to do suggests this was made between 1940-1960, and likely has lead content (so you would not serve food on it). It weighs 4.6 lbs.
