Hand-painted very colorful Talavera plate with a sunflower design. It is majolica earthenware, a tin-enameled pottery that originated in Mexico.This pottery is know for it vibrant colors and detailed designs. Authentic talavera pottery is produced in the city of Puebla and other nearby areas in Mexico.

12-1/2" in diameter with a 1" elevated base.

There are two holes in the base for it to be displayed on the wall.

It is a used item with normal wear and tear and minor imperfections.
