Moved this from FL to VT. We were on the fence about whether it would fit. It doesn't work. The mattress is a high end Sterns and Foster. LISTED $3000 WHEN NEW. It is a luxury firm quilted. It has always been covered.
We have a foundation for this. FREE with the purchase of the mattress at the asking price.. See pics. We got rid of the box spring for this mattress. It required my 90 year old mother in law to use a step stool to get into bed, so we got rid of the box spring and bought these 2" hard impact fiber board foundations instead. SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED AS A REPLACEMENT TO A BOXSPRING. to put the bed at a height everyone can get into. They were about $200 and just purchased last year.

I believe, from the label , that Sealy may have bought Sterns and Foster. There is information about Sealy on the tag that says 50 years in prison if removed. Under penalty of something... Something to that effect.
