an 88-key Ensoniq ESQ-1 keyboard synth. I considered using it when I toured around the country with Kilimanjaro in the '80s, but it's never actually hit the road, or saw a gig. It's remained in dry, climate-controlled storage since that time. It's got a few spots of rust here and there, but is functionally and cosmetically in fine shape.
The exterior dimensions are 43" x 18" x 7.5", and the foam interior is routed to accommodate the synth dimensions of 40" x 14" x 3.5". Needless to say, this road case would be perfect if you happened to have an ESQ-1 keyboard, but there are any number of synths that it could be used for.
Unlike SKB plastic cases, gig bags, etc, this thing is truly indestructible, and would be perfect for anyone who does road gigs, big or small, where maximum protection is crucial. Here's a listing for a comparable new one, which sells for $500...
