Initially this was a basic, brand new, Les Paul-100 but I used it as a platform for some experimentation with P90 tone options for my custom guitars.
That said, the basic guitar is simple but I've completely gone over it to be a great player. Work included was a redressing and trimming of the frets. Full action and intonation job and a neck tilt adjustment.
The electronics are the hidden gem of this guitar. The pickups are custom wound Lindy Fralin raw Nickel Humbucker sized P90s. There's also a push pull tone knob that activates a Telecaster tone cap to be able to go between P90, Telecaster and a very nice Treble Bled soft Strat neck position tone. The fun being, that tone can be mixed with the unadulterated P90 neck pickup. Simple looking guitar but it's definitely a sleeper that can rip.
One issue of note that has no effect on playability is that there is a small "Les Paul Crack on the low e side of the neck right near the nut. I'll try to add the best photo I can. I could fill and hide it but it's been there for three years and is just part of the character.
A final note, this guitar is being sold for less than the price of the pickups and electronics.
