I have a Novation Launchpad, which is like a mini synth that connects to Ableton Live. That is a DAW that is great for programming electronic music.
The Launchpad lets you play samples while performing, and also create them-playing lines and beats as you go. It can also be a synth, just playing chords and lines.
I'd be interested in starting a new project using the Launchpad along another instrument. Or it could add a lot to an existing group that wants some richer textures or just simple synth lines.
I've got songs I've made with the software, and a video demoing the Launchpad, I can share.
