Administrative Assistant for Law Practice
The Law Office of Claudia I. Pringles, PLLC in Montpelier, VT - an estate-planning and special needs planning law practice - seeks a skilled administrative assistant.
The ideal candidate for this position enjoys helping people, especially those who elderly or disabled, and recognizes how the prompt and accurate execution of even the most mundane task assigned helps minimize stress and improve the experience of clients who are wrestling with some of the most important and complex issues of their lives. I'm looking for someone eager to help grow my law practice and become a long-term member of my firm's team.
A qualified candidate for this position is demonstrably detail-oriented and highly organized, and needs minimal supervision prioritizing and completing competing tasks. He/she comes to this position already expert in MS Office and will quickly become proficient at using the specialized software employed by this practice. Superior communications skills across all media - written, telephone, conversational, and online - are essential. A minimum of two years office experience is required.
The key responsibilities of this position include managing the attorney's calendar; preparing a variety of types of documents; billing organization and management; and implementing marketing efforts developed in concert with and under the supervision of the Marketing Director.
This is a 32-hour/ 4 days per week position that pays $15 - $18 per hour to start.
