i am posting to share my current situation and to request any assistance or resources anyone might be able to provide.
due to a childhood marked by extreme abuse and time spent in the group home system, I live with severe panic disorder and PTSD. While I am fortunate to have a strong and supportive wife, our current financial situation is dire. We are homeless and living in a motel room we can not afford. we and hungry, as my monthly government assistance is not sufficient to cover our basic cost of living.
I have attempted to contact local organizations for help, but I have been informed that available resources are limited in our area apparently due to politics.. While I feel a great deal of embarrassment having to reach out in this manner, my priority is to find a way to provide for my family during this difficult time. I am able to provide proof of my situation and limited income. I am NOT a scammer, I only say this because some people have no morals and ruin it for the people like us who truly need it.
If you are able to personally assist me or can inform me of any programs, emergency funds, or support services you can direct us toward, please let me know. We would be deeply grateful for any guidance or aid you can offer.
