Heat & all utilities, high-speed Internet, fridge with freezer, small appliances and a microwave are all included for the preparation of light meals. This is a sunny private room with storage closet, adjacent bathroom/shower and its own private entrance, in a single-family house on an acre of land in Plainfield village.
The house and land are only a few blocks from the bookshop, Positive Pie, Cutler Library and the Plainfield recreation field, and a 15-minute drive to Montpelier. There are gardens and a flock of chickens on the land.
Our preference is that some of the rental cost be offset by helping with chores, which is encouraged. Also available as a room rental only (including in-room preparation of light meals but no kitchen access) with shared use of the laundry room... but this is not ideal. Willingness to help out is best. No animals are permitted. (Two cats live in a gated-off area on the ground floor.)
