This is a 1995 Winnebago Rialta on a VW Eurovan Chassis. I bought it used in November 2020 for a covid restoration project with my Dad. It has new rocker panels and the we rebuilt the interior. There are no gas appliances, but it has an electric refrigerator, hot water heater and microwave. It is set up to work with a Coleman type camp stove. There is a double bed, a small desk, a two-person dining area, and a lot of storage. I paid $12,000 for it and invested another $8,000 or so. I took it on a number of trips in New England and one trip to Florida, but haven’t had time or lifestyle to enjoy it so it hasn’t traveled the last three years.
It runs and is likely to pass inspection - even in VT. The vehicle is mechanically sound and has 105,000 miles or so. It gets 16-18 mpg, and all the systems work.
I don’t recommend this vehicle for someone who isn’t mechanically inclined, but it would be a great vehicle at a great price for a single adult or a couple who want to try nomad living for awhile. Call me to learn more. I am storing it on family property near Newport VT.
