About the role:
You’ll work with modern security and life-safety technology for homes and businesses. This includes burglar alarms, fire alarms, video surveillance, and smart home systems. Your main responsibilities will be installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
This is a hands-on job where you can learn and grow. We’ll teach you the technical skills, most importantly we’re looking for a practical mindset and a willingness to learn.
A typical day might include:
Installing security equipment for customers at both homes and businesses
Running and connecting low-voltage wiring
Setting up, configuring and testing systems
Completing digital work orders and notes
Responding to emails and engaging in consistent communication with co-workers
Providing friendly, clear explanations to customers about your work and our systems
We are looking for someone who:
Is comfortable using basic hand and power tools (we’ll train you on the specifics)
Can maintain clear communication with co-workers, managers, and customers
Can use a smartphone and apps for work orders, maps, and communication
Is able to follow instructions and think through problems logically
Is professional, courteous, and reliable
Is comfortable working on ladders, in crawl spaces, and lifting up to 50 pounds
Baseline requirements:
Valid driver’s license with a clean record
