Remote Technology Consultant in Need of Short Term Housing (South Burlington)

Hi everyone, my name is Julia. I am originally from Vermont, but have spent a fair amount of time living abroad. My job unexpectedly yanked me back from Argentina, so I’m back in Vermont and looking for housing a bit sooner than expected. I’m looking for a spot for the summer and fall, ideally until Oct or November 1st, but can be flexible. I love all animals, but have no pets of my own. I have a really varied background from neuroscience research to ski instructing, but now I work as a technology consultant, which is a schmoozy way of saying I code and talk to clients. I’m pretty social so I like to get out, be active, and socialize as soon as the work day is over. I speak Spanish and have lived in multiple Spanish speaking countries. I really love the community that comes with living in Latin America, but I also love Vermont, so I try split my time between both places. I love meting new people and making new friends and would ideally build a friendship with my roommate(s) I'm 31 and my birthday is soon, so I might be 32 by the time you see this. I have a steady salary and have no issues with background or credit checks.
What I'm ideally looking for (I know it's unlikely a place will have everything)
- A place with a front or back yard
- 20 mins driving max to the old north end in Burlington
- Ideally a room in a house versus an apartment.
- No kids (I love kids, but it's a bit difficult when working from home)
- A space I can have my desk in other than the bedroom if the bedroom is small (living room is fine), just to have the option not to spend all my time inside a bedroom.
