Temporary Room needed for Disabled LGBT+ Community Member (Burlington)

I'm seeking housing for a multiply disabled individual who has been sheltering in half of my bedroom for the last year. I am no longer able to comfortably house them, as the apartment in which I live is too small & both I and my roommate are starting to chafe at, among other things, the lack of privacy and space.
They are currently in the process of jumping through the hoops needed to get on SSI/Disability, and when they have done so they will be able to find an apartment of their own.
In the meantime, they do not have enough income to meaningfully pay rent, and as such need someone willing to charitably house them in a spare or guest room until they are able to get back on their feet.
They are fully vaccinated, tend to keep to themself, and their needs for a living space are as follows:
- Close enough to the bus lines for them to reach their pharmacy, doctor, etc. in Burlington
- window space for their plants
- preferably first floor, although that isn't a critical need - they can walk up stairs with the help of their cane.
If you have a room to spare (or know of an opportunity that is better than a homeless shelter) and are willing to help a community member in need, please email me & we can discuss further.
