Bought this brand new last year. Used it for about ten minutes, and it ended up not being the right tool for the job I had at hand. That being said... this is a legitimate flamethrower that would put's Elon Musk's little hairdryer (That roofing torch thing he sold years ago) to shame! Roars like a literal dragon. Will kick out a flame somewhere between ~12"-18" (It may possibly put out a bigger flame. I was too chicken to run it 100% wide open. Hah.)
Excellent for:
• De-weeding the driveway
• Pre-heating heavy equipment implements prior to hardfacing/replacing bucket teeth
• Starting the bonfire
• Paint removal
• Thaw/defrost frozen mechanical connections
• Thermally expanding components for press-fits
• Asphalt/roofing work
• Prescribed burning/backfiring (wildfire prevention)
I mean... You name it. Anything "Big Fire" could assist with, this thing will handle it and then some.
As stated, it comes with a 15ft line (actually a 10ft & a 5ft combined, but all the same), and igniter/sparker, and if you *really* need it, I'll even throw in some yellow gas rated Teflon tape. Unfortunately I don't have the original package anymore. But it was just a cardboard box.
