Silver Maple Construction, based in Middlebury, VT, is looking for skilled Lead Carpenters and Carpenters to join our high-end residential construction team. We specialize in custom homes that blend artistic design with masterful craftsmanship—framing, siding, window installs, and stunning finish carpentry.

👷 About the Role

We’re hiring for both Lead Carpenters and Carpenters. You’ll work on high-end custom residential projects with crews that stay together across job sites. Travel is mostly local with occasional 1–2 hour trips for select projects.

Lead Carpenter Duties:

• Supervise and mentor 3–4 crew members
• Coordinate job site activities and timelines
• Hands-on work in framing, siding, windows, finish carpentry
• Ensure job site safety and quality

Carpenter Duties:

• Execute framing, siding, window installation, finish work
• Follow directions from Lead Carpenter
• Use hand/power tools safely and accurately

📋 What You’ll Need

• 5+ years of residential carpentry experience
• Strong framing & finish skills
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
• Leadership skills for Lead roles
