Role Overview

Belden Construction has partnered with The Source and Recruit Company to identify an experienced Heavy Civil Superintendent. This leadership role is responsible for managing construction projects from inception through completion while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.

All projects are located within approximately one hour of the main office, allowing for a consistent schedule and the ability to be home each evening.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee construction projects from start to finish
• Coordinate personnel, subcontractors, and equipment
• Maintain high standards of quality and safety
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Manage layout, job costs, and field reporting

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in heavy civil construction
• Bridge construction experience preferred
• Strong decision-making ability in field operations
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
