If you write to me I will respond right back. If you don't hear from me CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER as Craigslist messages tend to end up there in many people's systems.

Have a box/boxes of old 78 rpm records and the kids/grandkids just don't seem to have any interest? Have you tried selling them just to have nobody reply to your listing? Did you try bringing them to a record store or thrift store just to find out that they don't take those old, fragile records?

Don't let those old Columbia and Victor records end up in a landfill. I'm on a mission to save those records from going into the landfill or back in your basement where they're going to continue to warp and degrade. Even if they're damaged I've been working on a way to rescue those old labels. Please consider contacting me before you consider contacting the dump.

99.9% of these records just don't command any interest or money from collectors due to their weight, fragility and content. Happy to pick up large and small lots within around 30 min. of Burlington... farther depending on the amount of records that you're looking to get rid of. If there's any in a batch that I can't use I have other resources to make sure they stay out of a landfill.

78 rpm records are typically 10" in diameter, extremely fragile and often end up cracked or broken. They have only one song per side like a 45 rpm record but without the large hole in the middle. They're also played on old Victrolas, phonographs and gramophones whereas 45s are played on more modern equipment. Examples of 78 rpm labels are Bluebird, Silvertone, Vocalion, Pathé, Decca, and RCA Victor.

There are a select few records out there that I would certainly pay $ for, feel free to contact me if you think you may have some that fall under that category (BLUES, and Rock -N- Roll).

Cheers!
