This is a circa 1965 Ashley Automatic wood stove. Because the walls of the stove are thin, it projects a ton of heat quickly and will heat a decent sized space like a work shop very fast. But it is NOT energy efficient and consumes a lot of wood. With some steel wool the rust should come off. I will leave it on the porch of our log cabin in Wallingford for pick up so if interested I will share address.
